Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot with each-other last weekend. The couple hosted two wedding ceremonies at The Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur.
Their wedding was split into two - a Christian ceremony which took place on Saturday followed by a Hindu ceremony of the same day. Priyanka and Nick were surrounded by all their loved ones when they said "I Do" as well as took saat-pheras.
Hello Magazine UK was the first ones to share a much-awaited glimpse of their wedding day.
The couple looked like an absolute dream together. For the Christian ceremony, while our favourite desi girl chose to wear Ralph Lauren gown featuring floral and scroll motifs with lace-effect tulle appliqués, scalloped sleeves and a high-neck collar. On the other hand, her groom was clad in a custom Ralph Lauren label six-button double breasted black tuxedo and custom patent lace up dress shoes. Inside the purple lapel of the tuxedo, Nick added a small piece of lace from his bride's dress embroidered with words "My Jaan".
Priyanka shared some details about their designer in an exclusive interview with Hello Magazine. "For the western wedding, we had been talking to a bunch of incredible designers, But ultimately when Ralph Lauren approached us (they're so much a part of our love story for obvious reasons) and I learned that Ralph has only designed three wedding dresses in 50 years - one for his daughter, his daughter in law, and his niece - I was blown. Then when we went in for the sketch presentation, they created exactly what I envisioned for myself on my wedding day... and I said yes to the dress," she said.
For the Hindu ceremony, she stunned in a deep red lehenga designed by Sabyasachi Mukherji. The intricately embroidered heavy and a striking two piece made her look what a Bollywood star should look like, beyond beautiful. She shared, "For the Indian wedding, I wore Sabyasachi," revealed the Bollywood star. "I always knew I wanted a red traditional silhouette for my wedding but Sabya brought in incredible French embroidery to the mix and with incredible jewellery and western inspired veil it was just such an amalgamation of who I am!"
The stunning bridal lehenga was teamed with traditional pure-gold jewellery and white jasmine flower garland for her hairdo. PeeCee's elaborate necklace by Chopard came from their Haute Joaillerie Collection and featured 184.50-carats of pear-shaped diamonds set in 18k ethical white gold. Her husband, Nick also looked really handsome in an traditional Indian sherwani, also designed by Sabyasachi.
