Newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh returned to India, this week and now have arrived in her hometown, Bengaluru, for their first wedding reception. Ever since their arrival in India, the couple have been in constant media spotlight. They were spotted leaving for Bengaluru on Tuesday morning.
The reception will be held on November 21st at the Leela Palace.
According to reports, the Deepika and Ranveer Bengaluru wedding reception will be held at the Leela Palace. Deepika’s mother, Ujjala, has been personally overseeing the arrangements for food, which will be mostly south Indian. Ranveer’s parents also reached the city ahead of the function.
The Leela Palace is a luxury property situated on Old Airport Road. It has 357 rooms, banqueting and conferencing options and multiple restaurants.
Talking about the guest list, it is expected that majorly Deepika's side of the family will be present and her father, badminton star Prakash Padukone’s friends expected in large numbers. Ranveer's parents, on the other hand, have arrived in Bengaluru.
Till now the couple have donned beautiful Sabyasachi outfits and we believe, they will keep up with the trend in their receptions as well. On Tuesday, 17 new pictures from the wedding, held at Lake Como’s Villa Di Balbianello, on November 14 and 15, were shared online.
Their Bollywood friends wished and expressed their feelings of getting married too, after seeing the pictures. Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi were some industry folks who expressed their intention to get hitched.
DeepVeer dated for six-long-years and tied the knot in both Konkani and Sikh traditions in Lake Como. They returned to India on November 17 amid huge fanfare. They greeted the press and gathered fans outside Ranveer’s Mumbai home, which had been decked out for the occasion.
A second reception will be held in Mumbai on November 28, and yet another party may be hosted by couple early in December, as per reports.
