Happy Birthday Aamir Khan: If you’re his die-hard fan, then you should know this

A majority of current generation get inspired by Bollywood's three Khans each day. Be it how they live their life or their steady diet, we fans are always flattered by them. Each Khan has their own style and qualities which have made us fall so much in love with them over the years. But Aamir Khan has always stood out.

Bacha kabil bano, kabil.. Kamyabi toh saali jhak maarke peeche bhagegi

While Salman began as the boy-next-door Prem and shifted towards the Bhai zone, Shah Rukh has maintained his lover boy image. Our favorite Aamir Khan has never felt restricted by the box- office to experiment something new and discover and perform new shades.

From the uncle in Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke to the tapori in Rangeela, or the bulky Sanjay Singhania in Ghajini to a prodigy in 3 idiots, Aamir has always put something new on the table which works inhis favour.

So on the occasion of his 53rd birthday, let’s get to know the multi-talented Aamir Khan a little better. Shall we?

Aamir Khan was very interested in lawn tennis during his school days, and he was not a bad player either. He represented his school in lawn tennis in several state level championships. Roger Federer is his favourite tennis player.

Actor decided to become an actor against his father's wish. He first joined a theatre group. Avantar where he worked backstage for two years.

Aamir's first feature film was Holi, with Ketan Mehta. It was a documentart made by the students of Film and Television Institute of India. The credits addressed him as Aamir Hussian Khan. Lagaan’s director Ashutosh Gowariker also played an important role in the film.

Hard to believe but Aamir's wife, Kiran Rao revealed that the actor suffers from eating disorder and also, doesn't like to bath.

Aamir Khan met his first wife, Reena Dutta before the release of Holi in 1984. They married in 1986, Reena is also visible in one of the shots of Aamir’s first big hit Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.

Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla became close friends on the sets of QSQT (1988), but their friendship soured during the shoot of Ishq in 1997 when Aamir’s played a prank on her and Juhi was livid with him. They haven’t done any film together since then. Before Ishq, Aamir and Juhi were seen in 7 films, out of which 5 were flops.

Aamir Khan attends no award show. We all know that bit it happened back in 1990, when he lost the Best Actor award to Sunny Deol in Ghayal. He was nominated for Dil. However, he has no reservation against the Oscar awards.

Aamir Khan has earned the tag of Mr. Perfectionist in his three-decade-long career and that too, without stereotyping himself and in an industry where actors are known repeating their hit formulas over and over again, that is a rare feat. We’re too blessed to have you!
