It won’t be wrong to call Irrfan Khan, one of the finest actors of Bollywood. And from we meant strictly his talent and film-choices. He has done some of the most remarkable movies of Bollywood and has left decent impressions on Hollywood with a handful of foreign movies.
A man travels the world over in search of what he needs and returns home to find it
From Maqbool to Qarib Qarib Singlle, Irrfan has left no stones turned to show that he is a class-apart. And so is his taste when it comes to his homes. Irrfan has previously resided at a home on Madh Island (a quick boat-ride away from the Mumbai mainland). As of now, he has shifted at a high-rise in Oshiwara, an area which is close to Lokhandwala (into the heart of Mumbai city).
And this time Irrfan knows that he found his dream-nest, a place where he can hide from the hustle-bustle of the city and attain peace. Here is a look at the palatial home of the eccentric actor Irrfan Khan:
From looking at the pictures of the inside of his new house, it is pretty much evident that the color blue has played a major role in getting the décor right along with elegant vibes. This place is indeed, inspired by the colors of a Peacock’s feather. Electrifying blue, light contrasts and abundance of natural lighting makes this place, one of a kind just like the actor himself.
As you can see, wood was designer Shabnam Gupta’s choice for decorating Khan’s residence. All the tables and wall-hangings were handcrafted by the artists from Rajasthan to match Irrfan’s royal. There are a lot of windows which present a beautiful view from the fifth floor apartment of Irrfan Khan.
As per our sources, Irrfan made it pretty clear to his designer to include a self-sufficient water body in the midst of his royal drawing room. Piku actor Irrfan was quoted as “It has to have its own ecosystem, survive on its own. That fascinates me. That the fishes don’t have to be given oxygen separately, that the water doesn’t have to be cleaned or changed.” And viola! The little blue Turkish bathtub-looking pond in the middle of his drawing room is indeed, the center of attraction for the Khans.
Natural and Beautiful
Evidently, the flora and fauna has been creatively used into making a cozy home for the Khans. You can see that not much furniture is visible instead there is a water body, a handcrafted swing and plenty of beautiful rugs.
Isn’t it simply majestic? Royal blue, majestic plants and plenty of natural lighting makes his home greater than good just like the Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangster actor himself. Stay tuned for more lifestyle related updates.
