Irrfan Khan is one of the finest Indian actors and is even recognised in Hollywood. But, did you know he wanted to quit acting almost 2 decades ago? Keep reading to know the details.

To mark his 52nd birthday today, here's an unknown fact about this brilliant actor. According to a report in a leading Indian daily, between his most struggling initial years in acting from 1994 to 1998, he had made up his mind to quit acting and find another passion in life because at that point of time Hindi Medium actor was doing a lot of TV shows and while a lot of work was coming his way, he felt it was all getting very monotonous and boring. And, as soon as he planned to leave acting, his destiny flipped. He was instantly offered Asif Kapadia’s Warrior which worked wonders for his career eventually.

Irrfan was at the peak of his career when he left the entire nation in shock by announcing about his Neuroendocrine tumour in March'18. The actor is currently at London completing his treatments for the same. He has been living abroad for a while due to his on-going treatment but he keeps visint India once in a while for work purposes, without letting anyone know.
