Kareena Kapoor, Christian Bale, Anil Kapoor and many others attend Netflix's Mowgli world premiere


On Sunday, Netflix's newest offering, an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle has its world premiere in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The lavish event was attended by many prominent celebrities from both Hollywood and Bollywood including Andy Serkis, Christian Bale and Freida Pinto who have voiced the role of Baloo, Bagheera and Messua, respectively.

The Hindi voice cast members including Abhishek Bachchan (Bagheera), Anil Kapoor (Baloo), Kareena Kapoor (Kaa), and Madhuri Dixit (Nisha) were present at the event too.

Jointly produced by Warner Bros and Serkis’ company The Imaginarium, the movie, is a darker adaptation of the iconic novel and according to Serkis, it is tonally closer to the book as opposed to the more cheery live-action film by Disney released in 2016.
