Global sensation Kylie Jenner loves sharing details about personal life with her fans, but she kept the best elements about her actual home in wraps until now. Her spectacular mansion in situated at the Hidden Hills, Calif., has been featured on the cover story of Architectural Digest for the month of March.
The interiors of her mansion are beyond beautiful featuring gold ceilings, condom art, a sofa swing and a lot more. The 21-year-old's lavish home is a dream come true for every woman and we are SO JEALOUS!
Jenner has worked on decorating this house for years with elite interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard. He told the magazine that the project commenced before Kylie was "even old enough to drink legally." She also confirmed that she was pregnant with her daughter, Stormi Webster, in the middle of the design process.
From the few clicks of Jenner's unreal pad that will be featured in the AD magazine next month, one can gather the kind of luxury she stays in. Few months ago, the makeup mogul revealed that she has drip-shaped gold consoles mimicking the design on her Kylie Cosmetics packaging. Well, the beauty references in her house go much-beyond that.
Jenner, 21, tells AD, "I told Martyn that color was essential." In her dining room, apart from the gold-leaf ceiling, the fabric used for chairs were custom-dyed to match shades in Kylie Cosmetics lipstick shades. “I love pink, and I wanted a lot of it!” Right above the huge dining table, silk screens from Damien Hirst’s “I Love You” series has been placed as a tribute to her as well as her 1-year-old daughter’s favourite bug i.e. a butterfly.
Her house also has a gorgeous glam-room which looks like it belongs to Elle Woods, in some ways. The space is all pink in colour with vanity lighting, a rosy countertop, leather salon chairs, and portraits of Barbie and Marilyn Monroe. Kylie tells, "My closets and glam room are very personal to me, even down to the size of each drawer, so they fit my specific products and clothes. I spend a lot of time in those rooms, so we had to make sure they were perfect."
The gold console tables placed next to the fireplace of her living room have metallic drips hanging from their tops. The whole design depicts the art featured on Kylie's lip kit packaging. “I have a lot of Kylie Cosmetics, awards, and my magazine covers around the house that inspires me on a daily basis. I am very proud of what I’ve accomplished,” she says. Also, in the same family room, sofa facing the fireplace is actually hanging from the ceiling. The classic piece is actually a Jim Zivic-designed hammock from Ralph Pucci.
While multiple spaces in her mansion features various artistic pieces, Kylie has placed a glamorous black and white portrait of her mother, Kris Jenner hanging on the wall of her guest bedroom. She showed it off earlier at the time she purchased this house. She had shared a picture of the same with caption, “just got this photo of my mom in the 80s framed for my home. My inspiration.”
Last but not the least, we are absolutely digging the cheeky lights placed all over her home. A neon art peice by Tracy Emin hangs above the sofa near the bar which states a funny self-aware sentiment; “I can’t believe how much you love me,” it reads. Underneath this sign, hangs a trio of Andy Warhol dollar prints. Above the fireplace in her private bedroom hangs another neon sign stating "The Kiss Was Beautiful" and we are completely envying it.
