Telugu icon Brahmanandam Kanneganti has undergone a heart bypass surgery and in under the news for similar reasons. The actor initially went through some of the medical tests that took place yesterday and later he was taken to a hospital in Mumbai on Monday.
The surgery has been successful and the 62-year-old actor is reported to be in a healthy state now. The actor cum comedian enjoys a good amount of fan following for his hard work and the fans were seen posting for a healthy recovery on social media for the same. Currently, Kanneganti is looked after by his sons Raja Gautam and Siddharth.
In the hassle that the actor’s fans have created on social media, one of the Twitter users wrote, “Get well soon, wishing to see you back on screen soon!! #Brahmanandam." Brahmanandam made his debut in 1985 with the film Aha Naa Pellanta and has acted in more than 1,000 films."
The actor is has gained the popularity in the Indian cinema by working as a judge in the Great Telugu Laughter Challenge.
On a relatable note, Braghmanandam has also worked in important movies including Vinodham, Ready, Race Gurram, Manmadhudu, Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam, Dookudu and Baadshah. The actor holds a Guinness World Record for having the highest number of screen credits for a living credit. In addition, the actor has also been honoured with Padma Shri award for his contribution to the Indian cinema in 2009. Till now, he has worked in more than 1000 films and is one of the most paid actors of the cinema.
