Ranveer Singh gets candid about his ‘dharampatni’ Deepika and their dreamy wedding planning!

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone left us all teary eyed with their dreamy wedding in Lake Como, Italy and don't get us started about their post-wedding functions. They were LIT, however, all of that came from endless planning and nothing more.

Ranveer Singh, who recently attended a music reality show to promote his upcoming movie Simmba, revealed some rather interesting details regarding the planning of their elaborate wedding. "My dharampatni (wife), her planning is too detailed. We did some 22 tastings and kept eating and hitting the gym for the various receptions," he said.

The couple, who had been dating for the past six years, exchanged their wedding vows at the picturesque Villa del Balbianello at Lake Como, Italy on November 14th and 15th. They performed two ceremonies to honour each other's customs and rituals- a Konkani-style wedding on November 14 and a traditional Anand Karaj on the following day.

After the lavish wedding, they hosted their first wedding reception at The Leela Palace in Bengaluru on November 21. The event was attended by close friends and extended family, prominent personalities like Anil Kumble and PV Sindhu were also present.

The second reception was organised at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on November 28th. Apart from family and close friends, selected media personalities were also invited to the celebrations. Followed by a party at the same venue, which was organised by Singh's sister, Ritika Bhavnani.

Later, they hosted a lavish wedding reception at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on December 1 for their Bollywood friends. The event was attended by hah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor and many others.
