Narcos spin-off series, Narcos Mexico which revolves around the Guadalajara cartel will return to Netflix. Mexico which shows a different story than its predecessors will return with the second part of the drug mafia Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo's life.
Drug mafia Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo aka Diego Luna revealed about his character by saying: “It’s not the stereotype of the drug dealer we’ve seen before. It’s a guy who is much more of a businessman. He is one step ahead of everyone. He sees an opportunity and he takes it. He creates a system that transcends people, you know. We are not telling a story about good and bad people. It is not black and white. This story lives in the grey areas.”
The first season of Narcos: Mexico charts the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s as Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna) takes the helm, unifying traffickers in order to build an empire.
Soon after, DEA agent Kiki is found dead by his team. Drug Enforcement Agency wrecks havoc on Felix's empire. However, drug king-pin Felix somehow escapes the consequences.
The second season will show the up-rise of Guadalajara cartel as well as its downfall.
On a related note, Netflix released a video which shows Ganesh Gaitonde akak Nawazuddin Siddique and Jatin Sarna as Bunty watching Felix's deeds on TV. There were speculations that Netflix is planning for a Sacred Games and Narcos cross-over but nothing has yet been confirmed
