Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan will soon be making his digital debut in 2.0 director S Shankar's upcoming sci-fi thriller. Ace director Shankar, who is currently working with Kamal Haasan on the sequel of 1996 hit crime thriller Indian, was in talk with Krrish actor regarding the same.
However, there are no further insights related to the digital debut of Roshan but sources claim that web streaming giants have shown keen interest in telecasting the upcoming Shankar directorial.
"Once the final draft is ready, Shankar will begin his recce for the shoot. The project is likely to roll in October and will be shot in a South-east Asian island," said the source.
Four years back, S. Shankar offered the lead role in the Hindi version of hit Tamil movie, ‘I’ to Hrithik. Unfortunately, Kaabil actor had to drop the offer on account of unavailability of dates.
A previous report stated that Shankar has always been a fan of Guzaarish actor and wants to work with him. “Shankar has always been keen to work with Hrithik Roshan and has been trying since the last four years but somehow it has never worked out. Shankar feels with Hrithik’s good looks, great physique and superb dancing skills, he can do justice to the kind of scripts that Shankar has," quoted the source.
On a related note, Hrithik is currently waiting for the release of his upcoming biography drama movie, Super 30 which is based on mathematician Anand Kumar. 45-year-old actor Roshan will return as Indian superhero Krrish in the fourth instalment of the Rakesh Roshan directorial.
