5 Movies have so accurately predicted the future


Every movie that is ever made, is a fine work of fiction and imagination. But there have been some movies that have somehow predicted the future with surprising levels of details. From telling us about the new-age technology to 9/11, there have been hints of such activities. 

You might not have noticed such things but we're here to tell you all about them. So let's begin by knowing about the best movies of our time and how much did they tell us about the future.

Pichaikkaran (2016)

This movie was released in March 2016 and spoke about why Rs.1000 & 500 notes should be abolished for the betterment of the country. As we all know it, Modi-led governement dropped the bomb of demonetization of the people of the country, 8 months later on November 8, 2016. 

Minority Report (2002)

This Steven Spielberg classic predicted the notion of targeted advertisement which is normal nowadays. The film even predicted the gesture-based computing and gaming which is used by Xbox 360 today.

The Cable Guy (1996)

Starring Jim Carrey, the movie did not do well at that time but it accurately predicted how every American home will have a television, phone and computer together. The movie even claims some day you will place Mortal Kombat with someone in Vietnam, much before actual multiplayer games made their way into mainstream. 

I Am Legend (2007)

In 2007, the world saw a poster of the collaboration of two superheroes. The poster was of Warner Bros. film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The director of the movie, Francis Lawrence revealed the secret behind this prediction in an interview; he said, "The reason that it was there is that the producer and writer of 'I Am Legend,' Akiva Goldsman, actually wrote an early, early [draft of Batman v Superman]."

Super Mario Bros. (1993)

This Super Mario is not animated, and is set in the real New York City. In the final scene of the movie, they predict about the 9/11 tragedy.
