Being trapped alone during holidays was every child's biggest fear, while growing up but this movie gave us undesired confidence that an infant can also fight the worst circumstances alone. We all were in awe of the brave little Kevin who is left alone at his giant house on the Christmas eve and how brilliantly he puts up the fight with thief trying to break into his house. Directed by Chris Columbus, Home Alone was released in 1990 and was a big hit as well as everyone's favourite at the time. It's funny and terrific every time you watch it!

Jingle All The Way (1996)

Christmas is all about spending quality time with family and other loved ones; watch Arnold Schwarzenegger starrer Jingle All The Way comedy movie and get into awesome Cristmas mode. In the film, a loving father promises his son to buy him his favourite toy on Christmas but unfortunately it gets sold out everywhere. Watch how this family run around the town for one present and eventually learn the real meaning of Christmas.

Love Actually (2003)

It's the perfect X'mas rom-com you would love to watch this holiday season. The movie takes you through the lives of eight couples dealing with their complicated relationships around this time of the year. It's pleasant, light and has not just one but eight happy endings.

Directed by Jon Favreau, 2003 release starring Will Ferrell and James Caan, Elf is a must watch on Christmas. The movie is full of cheer, fun-spirited, family comedy with some of the most charming performances ever by Santa's helpers.

The Holiday (2006)

The Holiday is the perfect romantic-comedy to watch in the holiday season. Amazing film is about two unhappy women who swap their homes for a much needed break and eventually find the love of their life. So curl up in a warm space with your beau and enjoy the best Christmas movies ever!
