Comedian Chris Rock backs off from hosting 2019 Academy Awards

In no time, 2019 Academy Awards will commence and last year's best movie will be announced. Fans are already psyched about the upcoming ceremony which will take place on Monday, 25th February 2019.

Earlier, reports suggested that comedian Kevin Hart will host the 91st Oscars Award ceremony. However, there are usually more than one host that are seen hosting the award-show. Comedian-actor Chris Rock was also encountered with the question whether he will like to host the Oscars or not.

“If it was five years ago, I could say something really offensive and funny right now, but I can’t do that anymore, so…heyyyy!” replied Rock in the most hilarious manner.

Perhaps, it won't be wrong to cross Grown-Ups actor Chris' name from the list hosts of Oscars 2019.

“Steve Martin is here. You should host the Oscars. You’re the best. Steve Martin should host the Oscars! Because I’m not doing it, goddammit! You’re not getting me,” added Rock while suggesting Martin for the role.

Well, this wouldn't have been the first-time when Rock hosted the Oscars. In the year 2005 and 2016, Chris took the stage for hosting the award-show. On a related note, Chris Rock was last seen on the TV series, 'The Rundown with Robin Thede' and also served as the executive producer in the same project.
