Finally, the much-awaited Pokemon movie, 'Detective Pikachu' is all set to hit the theatres in 2019. And its trailer is all that Pokemon-fans have been wishing for. This time none-other-than Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has given his voice to our favourite yellow-rodent Pikachu and the theme of the movie looks darker as per the trailer.

Ever since the news of Ryan Reynolds portraying the role of Pikachu started making rounds, Pokemon fans lost their calm and began waiting for its teaser-trailer. Well, the trailer of Detective Pikachu is finally out which is dark, adulterated and exciting.

Directed by Rob Letterman, Detective Pikachu is not an anime and is set in a universe where Pokemon and humans are living together. In the midst of the Pokemon universe is a boy who encounters Pikachu aka Ryan and befriends him.
Starring Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith and Rita Ora, Detective Pikachu is produced by Legendary Entertainment and The Pokemon Company. The trailer looks promising and Ryan's voice serves the purpose of bringing Pikachu to life.
All the Pokemon fans want nothing more than the franchise to evolve in the most relevant way possible. We are not yet sure about anything but the makers surely have a lot of surprises planned for the audience. Although, the movie is not about the original Pokemon series and Ash Ketchum but centralized on Pikachu who is all set to solve a case.
Deadpool star as Pikachu will surely manage to gather appreciation from the audience with his witty one-liners and cuteness of the character in the upcoming live-action movie, Detective Pikachu.
