Recently, a report revealed that the producers of ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise have roped in Deadpool 2 director David Leitch for making another movie for the franchise. Unlike before, this upcoming installment will be a spin-off of the original script.
"Hobbs and Shaw" will hit the theatres on July 26, 2019
The spin-off film which is titled as 'Hobbs and Shaw' will feature Dwayne Johnson and Jason Stathom in the main lead. The film will show a different side of the story where 'Hobbs' and 'Shaw' will be fighting the crooks or saving the mankind.
But the actual question still remains, 'Who will be playing the villain in this spin-off?' So, who will be tag-teamed by Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw? Well, the suspense is over; English actor Idris Elba who known for playing the character of an alcoholic monk in Ghost Rider is in final talks for playing the villain in the upcoming Fast and Furious movie.
American screenwriter Chris Morgan has penned down the script for this movie and production is set to begin this fall.
On the related note, Jason Stathom joined the 'Fast and Furious' series in the seventh instalment in 2017.
