Finally, the first trailer of David Harbour starring Hellboy has been released. And if you are familiar with the Hellboy franchise then you might notice that the revamped Hellboy aka David is completely different than what the franchise has offered in the previous 2 instalments.
In an earlier interview, director Neil Marshall committed for making a horrific comic book movie based on the famous character, Hellboy. However, its trailer has a different tale to tell.
Watch the trailer below:
As per its trailer, all-new Hellboy is surely blood thirsty and is dealing with a lot of violence in the trailer but fails to add a darker theme to the movie. Besides David harbour as Hellboy, the audience is also treated with Milla Jovovich as Nimue the Blood Queen, who's trying to destroy mankind.
There are unexpected one-liners from our usually quiet, badass comic superhero, Hellboy. Also, the trailer shows a Hellboy which is pretty far away from the original 'Hellboy'. It seems like it is a completely different version of the red-beast.
On a related note, the Hellboy reboot also stars Ian McShane as Hellboy's adoptive father Trevor Bruttenholm, who is the founder of the fictional government organisation that Hellboy works for, Sasha Lane (American Honey) as a woman with some magical abilities, Brian Gleeson (Love/Hate), Sophie Okonedo (Hotel Rwanda), Penelope Mitchell (The Vampire Diaries), and Alistair Petrie.
