We all felt a major heartbreak when Ygritte died and Jon Snow was left alone in the fantasy TV drama series, Game of Thrones. Luckily, the real life and reel life couple are all set to tie the knot, though the official wedding date has not yet been announced. But according to sources, the invitations that Kit Harington and Rose Leslie sent out had a rather Game of Thrones touch to themselves.
Game of Thrones Season 8 will return in 2019
Going by the reports, the 200 wedding invitations feature Kit Harington’s face in a very special way. Actually, a series of Game Of Thrones stamps were issued by the Royal Mail earlier, one of UK’s premier mail delivery systems. Stamps featuring faces of Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister were all included. The guests were, therefore, thrilled to see this odd gesture from Kit on their envelopes.
During his appearance at The Jonathan Ross Show, Kit revealed how he fell in love with Rose. “I fell in love in Iceland, I fell in love with my co-star.” FYI, Iceland was the filming location for the Beyond The Wall scenes between Jon and Ygritte.
They announced their engagement in September 2017 but they're keeping everything secret due to Game of Thrones. They have even requested the guests to not disclose any information about the event.
Kit Harington plays a pivot role in HBO's Game of Thrones. Rose, on the other hand, died in one of the previous seasons. Although, she is well-recognised for her role in historical period drama Downtown Abbey. As for Game of Thrones, it returns for one last season in 2019 which is said to have six feature-length episodes.
