Reynolds told a tabloid, "I have anxiety, I've always had anxiety." He added, “Both in the lighthearted 'I'm anxious about this' kind of thing, and I've been to the depths of the darker end of the spectrum, which is not fun."
The 41-year-old ‘Green Lantern star has divulged information that says his early 20s were his "real unhinged phase." "I was partying and just trying to make myself vanish in some way," he gushed, confessing that he did self-medications to cope with crippling anxiety. Although, he stopped taking them when he saw his friends dying of overdoses.
The ‘Deadpool’ sensation revealed he is now struggling with the anxiety through his massive press tour for 'Deadpool 2' by taking plenty of the interviews within character.
"When the curtain opens, I turn on this knucklehead, and he kind of takes over and goes away again once I walk off set," he elaborated. "That's that great self-defense mechanism. I figure if you're going to jump off a cliff, you might as well fly."
The sequel based revolving around the Marvel Comics character ‘Deadpool in 2016’, the movie is slated to release on 18 may 2018.
