Hollywood's most celebrated actor Chris Hemsworth is also a proud father. However, Thor actor admits that becoming a father did no good to his acting career.
There's definitely a couple of films I could've put way more energy into but I was like, 'No, I'd rather be with my kids
Shocked? Well, the 35-year-old Australian actor discussed his personal life in a recent interview with GQ Australia. Rush actor said: "I do wonder sometimes, if we [wife Elsa] hadn't met, what my career would look like. Have I made decisions based on that? How has that influenced me?"
Avengers star continues, "There's times when I’ve thought, 'Wow, because having kids is more important to me, some of my roles have suffered.'"
To be precise, Chris doesn't regret being a father/husband. But Hemsworth does admit that he could've performed better in some of the previous projects.
The Huntsman actor added: "There's definitely a couple of films I could've put way more energy into but I was like, 'No, I'd rather be with my kids.'"
When asked about how he manages being an actor and a dad at the same time, Chris said: "It can't be a truly individual, selfish endeavour but we still need to take care of our own."
Talking about his financial success and its affect on his kids, Chris said: "The fact that we have money and their parents are famous, that somehow they're special, that scares me because we grew up with no money."
The actor clearly admits that it is quite difficult being a father and an actor at the same time. And also, Chris tries his best to keep his kids away from wealth and stardom.
On a related note, Chris will be next seen in the fourth instalment of MCU's Avengers franchise. The Upcoming Avengers will be released sometime in 2019.
