Bigg Boss 12 winner Dipika Kakar's first tweet is truly heart-melting


After going through a lot of ups and downs for three long months in the Big Boss house, Dipika Kakar came out as the winner of reality show's season 12 on Sunday. She won herself a trophy presented by the show's host Salman Khan and also bagged prize money worth Rs 30 Lakh. Returning back to her normal life, on Monday, famous TV actress, took to her Twitter account and thanked her fans for making her victory possible and dedicated her trophy to them.

She defeated former Indian cricketer Shreesanth to bag the trophy and price money of Big Boss Season 12 on Sunday. The ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ star received a grad welcome at her own house as her beloved husband Shoaib lifted her up in his arms and her mother-in-law was seen hugging her tightly upon her return. Right next day to her win, Dipika decided to get back on the social media and shared her first Tweet thanking her fans for all the love and support. She wrote, "We did it!!!! Others nothing above being honest to yourself in any and every walk of life... and that is what has made us win hearts and achieve this!!! Dil se thanku to all This trophy is from you all for you all.. lots of love and a happy new year to all. #stayblessed"

Talking about her journey in a recent interview, Dipika said that it was filled with high and low moments throughout and she would cherish this experience for life. She survived in the Big Boss house for all 90 days.

"This show has tested my patience and has made me so strong that now I won't hesitate to fight any obstacle. My patience level has increased so much, I hope i would fight less with Shoaib Ibrahim (her husband-actor)," she said.

She also couldn't believe when the host Salman Khan announced her name as this season's winner. "I was blank for few moments. And couldn't understand that I have actually won. Salman sir has been joking sometimes lifting my hand and then bhai's hand. When he finally said Dipika has won the show, it finally dawned upon me that okay it's me. It's a feeling that you cannot define in words. When I looked at Shoaib, he went down on his knees to thank god," she added.
