Bigg Boss contestant Sreesanth leaves no stone unturned to introduce a new side to him. After discussing the slapgate incident with Harbhajan Singh in the previous episodes, the ex-cricketer finally opened up about the much-turbulent past of his life, the match-fixing scandal.
In the episode, Sreesanth was sptted at the garden area with other contestants including Dipika Kakar, Jasleen Matharu and Megha Dhade. While chit chatting, Sreesanth started talking about his past and seeing him in tears, all the other contestants gathered around him to calm him down.
The 35-year-old man revealed that he was accused of match-fixing for Rs 10 lakh, when he was not involved and is innocent. While he was acquitted in 2015, Sreesanth speaks about the haunting experience. He further shared that depressed by his career going away, he tried to commit suicide. Now this revelation left the housemates in shock!
Sreesanth was in the middle of a break down when he shared that he is banned from entering any cricket field in the world. He felt hurt because now even if his children ever become cricketers, he would not be able to see them play or support them. His story left all the housemates moist-eyed.
For the uninitiated, Sreesanth and few other cricketers were accused of being involved in spot-fixing. He was also arrested but later released on bail. Even though the charges were dropped, Sreesanth is still facing a life ban from BCCI. Post the controversy, Sreesanth shifted his focus towards acting and politics. After participating in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Khatron Ke Khiladi, he entered Bigg Boss 12.
