Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has hit the theatres and the team is busy promoting the movie in every possible way. For the same, the cast recently reached the sets of Super Dancer 3 where lead actor Rajkummar Rao introduced his fans to some of the rare facts from his personal life.
His journey from a Gurgaon boy to an actor has been one full of struggles. Despite the hurdles and hassles, the actor, with his hard work and constant efforts has achieved the position that he enjoys today. From his performance in Trapped to his previous movie Stree, he has never failed to showcase his talent.
On the sets of the dancing reality show, Raj confessed that he, initially, wanted to be a dancer. As a child, the actor was very fond of dancing and wanted to pursue the same as his career. He was 16 when he travelled from Gurgaon to Mumbai in a train to participate in a reality show named Boogie Woogie. However, it seems that nature wanted something different for Rao and he was rejected in the show. Previously, the actor was disheartened for his rejection but presently credits the act as his ladder of success.
Talking about his dream to be a dancer, he said, “I was in the tenth standard when I came to Mumbai from Gurgaon for the first time, I always wanted to be a dancer and came here for the auditions of Boogie Woogie where I got rejected. I was sixteen years old when I came here. I was very disheartened by that rejection then but today I am so glad that I got rejected. It got me to a better career that I am in today.”
Rajkummar truly justifies the phrase, “whatever happens, happens for good.” He is currently being appreciated for his role, Sahil Mirza, in the recent movie, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga starring with Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla.
