Chris Hemsworth’s upcoming Netflix Original movie, 'Dhaka' wraps up India shoot schedule!

Thor actor Chris Hemsworth starrer web-series, Dhaka has finished shooting in India. In our previous reports we mentioned a few incidents from Australian actor Hemsworth's India tour while shooting for Russo Brothers' upcoming Netflix movie.

Directed by Sam Hargrave, Dhaka was shot at Ahmadabad and Mumbai. As per our sources, the movie will now be shot in Thailand. Starring Randeep Hooda, Manoj Bajpayee, David Harbour, Golshifteh Farahani along with Avengers star Chris Hemsworth, Dhaka is a Netflix original movie.

Based on a story written by Joe Russo, Dhaka revolves around an Indian boy who is caught in a war between drug lords. Hemsworth plays the role of a mercenary who is on the mission to save the abducted kid.

Talking about the project, debutant director Sam Hargrave said: “We’re excited to make a film that hopefully speaks to a wide range of audiences – a gritty, character-driven action movie with a lot of heart.”

Producers Russo Brothers said: “India has provided incredibly beautiful backdrops that have added to the intricacies of our production.”

Our sources reveal that its production will finish by the end of February, 2019. On a related note, Dhaka is a Netflix Original movie which is also produced by Russo Brothers along with Chris Hemsworth.
