Happiness is like oxygen for the soul. Where many people think that happiness is just a mood and is periodic, there are many psycholigists who believe that happiness is a state of well-being that has a huge impact on your life. 

In order to make sure that you find happiness in every aspect of life, here are some smaller things which you must appreciate:

Listening to nothing

In this world nothing is permanent except for the chaos which we find nearly everywhere. But have you ever experienced and enjoyed silence? If you haven’t then you have been missing out a major happiness of your life. Yes, do it! Whenever you are in your car or home, try to maintain and enjoy silence. 

Sky-staring

Around 95 per cent of the masses have done it at some point of their lives (mainly during childhood). And it really is amazing enough for you to try it. Irrespective of whether it is a day sky or a night sky, just staring at it will make you realize that we are a part of something bigger than our lives. And clearly, working from 9 to 5 for earning basic resources is not a part of that ‘big-thing’.

Just breathing!

Breathing is one of the most important natural processes of our human body. And it won’t be wrong to say that it is pretty-much on of the most ignored natural processes of a human body as well. Where breathing ensures sufficient blood flow throughout the body, there are many people who have forgotten the importance of it. So, take some time out and just breathe. 

Bird watching

No! We actually meant just ‘bird’ watching and not ‘bird-watching’. Take your time out for going somewhere and sitting with your friends just for taking a glance at some of the majestic creatures on the planet will provide you a sense of completeness. It will surely relax your mind.

Dipping

If swimming is not your cup of tea but you love dipping your paws into a water body and sit there for sometime then you know what are we talking about. Water flowing under your feet gives you soothing sensations and calms down your mind.

Music

There is nothing like listening to some calming, melodious song for soothing your mind. For ages, people have been using music as a tool for relaxing their minds until now when music is more loud than melodious.
