Fruits are both healthy and stomach filling. Some of the fruits available in summers which are a blessing to your stomach are apples, sugarcane, types of melons, mangoes and jackfruit.
You must know the spices which suit your body, especially in summers. Avoid using spices like mustard, ginger, and chilli. You can use it but in a lesser quantity as it can be harmful to your stomach if used in a larger quantity. Use cooling herbs for cooking like fennel, mint, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, and green cardamom.
Summer vegetables like broccoli, snake gourds, drumstick, white pumpkin and cucumber should be a big yes in your daily meals. Also, avoid using tomato, peppers and garlic.
Keep yourself hydrated but not with chilled water and aerated drinks. Keep a check on your sugar consumption. Ice creams too contain a lot of sugar content so don’t binge on them excessively to overcome heat strokes.
Go for a very light breakfast, your lunch has to be the heaviest meal of the day. Opt for cucumber /watermelon juices and salads for breakfast. Keep your yoghurt consumption low, while you can opt for buttermilk instead.
