The fourth day of Navratri have gone by and I couldn't be any less happy about the amazing food I've been having all day long. In home and in office, Navratri always brings along some of the most delicious vegetarian dishes, anyone could ever imagine.
Navratri is upon us and so is happiness!
For all of you who don't belong to the Northern part, it can be a bad week but don't shy away from exploring some great alternative options as well. Trust me, once you try these vegetarian delicacies, you will be left craving for more and more.
So here's a list of top 5 Navratri dishes that you cannot afford to miss:
Kuttu ki Puri
I'm sure everyone has ate this and love it. These puri are made up of buckwheat flour and tastes a hell lot better.
Not easy to cook but it's very fulfilling. Also, it is a good break after everything made up of potatoes.
Banana Walnut Lassi
What else do you want after a long summer day?
These soft and crispy pancakes are made up of tapioca pearls, mashed potatoes, peanuts and other spices. It's unique, it's easy and it's awesome.
If you feel like drinking (a glass of coca-cola) then this will be your go-to chakna!
I swear they are better than potato tarts!
And that's the secret to a happy stomach. Dahi aaloo is a curry made with dahi and aloo. Duh! But here's the thing. It's damn easy to cook, even for a noob and it's pretty damn delicious.
