With the daily struggle of rushing to office from home in the morning to working your butt off till the evening; sleep is a luxury for some. With our hectic schedules and long hours, it is absolutely impossible for us to just give day of relaxation. Oops! We do relax, with your never-ending Netflix subscription, right? However, that’s not enough. Remember, at the end of the day, you’re only human.
A well-spent day brings happy sleep!
With the confusing economy, there’s no one who isn’t working day and night just to survive. We think about no food, no sleep but only about work which is not good. With so many things going on, it is hard to create a proper sleeping pattern which is very important if you wish to keep working!
While we understand your work priorities, we also wish to keep you healthy and fit! So, we have a list of few easy steps which will keep you relaxed while going to bed and ensure you wake up feeling energized!
Start a daily exercise
Your body should be tired enough for you to get a good, goodnight sleep. We're not talking about intense workout sessions but some physical exercise will be good for your muscles and collectively send a signal to the brain to sleep when they need rest.
Research proves that new innovative mattresses provide maximum relaxation, irrespective of whether you take a long nap or a short one. It is essential to find a mattress that suits your body type and helps you sleep cozily.
It doesn't matter if it’s a weekday or a weekend, sleeping and waking up roughly at the same time allows your brain to cycle through the five phases easily.
Let the melatonin flow
Try to avoid smart-screens or lights while sleeping. You need darkness so that melatonin, which induces sleep, can be released. Avoid LED-screens as they emit blue light which induces your brain to falsely believe that it is still daytime, forcing you to remain awake even when you crave rest.
Set the right temperature, according to yuor body type. Cooler temperature is always preferable as it helps your body to slow down its core functions and control the temperature to enhance the quality of one's sleep.
