Renowned Indian singer-composer A.R. Rahman was seen promoting his upcoming show, "The Voice". Jai Ho singer will be seen as a judge on the reality singing TV show which will air on Star Plus from February.
Recently, Rahman was seen at the promotional event of the upcoming singing show where he spoke about what he thought of actors trying their hand at singing, read a statement.
Padmaavat actor Ranveer Singh has increased the level of acting by learning and performing street rap for his upcoming movie, ‘Gully Boy’. Also, this is not the first time when an actor/actress has displayed their vocal talent on-screen; Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan
Talking about the same, Rahman said: "Actors singing their songs in movies is the general norm world-wide. The actors need time to practice singing for their song before they record it. Nowadays, actors are very busy with hectic schedules and juggling with work commitments, leaving them with no time to practice singing their song."
Dil Se Re singer added: "If they take time out and practice, it will be an amazing idea for them to sing for their movies."
