Sultan filmmaker Kabir Khan is ready to sit on the director chair once again with Ranveer Singh for his upcoming movie '83, which is based on India’s historic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup under the captain ship of Kapil Dev.
'83 is slated to release on August 30th, 2019
On Sunday, Kabir took to his Instagram account and shared a picture of The Neviil Ground at Royal Tunbridge Wells in the English county of Kent. It is the same ground where Kapil had hit a smashing 175 against Zimbabwe during the World Cup.
Alongside the image, Kabir wrote, "Got gooseflesh today standing on the historic Tunbridge Wells cricket ground... where Kapil Dev smashed the world record... 175 not out during the 1983 World Cup. #locationscouting #worldcup#cricket #kapildev #History.”
Kabir, who is known for shooting a major portion of his films outdoors, seems to be having a great time scouting locations in England. The director is trying his hands on photography, glimpses of which he shared on the photo and video-sharing website.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba. The film, a remake of the 2018 Tamil film of the same name, will release on December 28 this year. It stars Sara Ali Khan as the female lead. Follow our Bollywood Magazine For Latest Bollywood News and Gossips.
