After bowling over China with his mind-boggling performances in Dangal and Secret Superstar, Aamir Khan is now the new face of Chinese smartphone maker Vivo.
After Dangal and Secret Superstar, Hindi Medium has reached China.
The brand announced on Monday that they have appointed Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan as its brand ambassador for India. The actor has been signed for future brand and product communication initiatives of Vivo India.
Kenny Zeng, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Vivo India said, "We are thrilled about the possibilities that our partnership with one of the world's biggest superstars, Aamir Khan, will open up for Vivo in India."
He further revealed that this new association will open gates for newer avenues and reach a wider audience in India. The actor would soon be seen in a full-fledged TV commercial as well.
Talking about the brand Aamir says, "Vivo as a brand embodies the spirit of innovation and meaningful disruption. Over the years, the brand has been constantly pushing the boundaries of smartphone technology. I am enthused to be a part of Vivo's transformative journey in India.”
Vivo entered India in 2014 and got associated with brands like Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pro-Kabaddi League.
