In a recent conversation, shooting champion turned Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that if there is even the slightest of chance of his biopic being made then he would want KJo to direct it. During an organised Koffee With Karan session at the opening ceremony of IFFI 2018, celebrity host Karan asked Rathore about which actor should be casted for playing the lead role in his biopic.

Although, Union Minister was confused about the actor who will be playing Rajyavardhan Singh on-screen but he did mention that he wants Karan Johar to direct it. Rathore said: "I don't know about the actor, but I would certainly like to have Karan Johar as the director of the film."
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who was also present at the opening ceremony, was asked if he could come up with a name of an actor for playing Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on-screen. After giving it a thought, Khiladi Akshay came up with the name of young actor Ranveer Singh.
When asked about his recognition as a Union Minister, Rathore said: "Nobody recognises me in public place as a minister. If they at all recognise me they will turn around and say 'he is that shooter'. That is the love and affection which we will remember and that is the closest to me."
On a related note, Akshay Kumar starrer Gold is scheduled to have an open screening at the IFFI 2018. The event which is supposed to commence till November 28th, will promote the Khelo India initiative by recognising the contribution of Indian sportspersons.
