I also remember the first time I spoke to him. I was shooting for Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander in Ooty. There were no cell phones that time. I got a message from the receptionist that Mr Bachchan had called. I thought it was a joke, that someone was playing a prank. In half an hour, the phone rang and it was Amitabh Bachchan on line. I almost dropped the phone off my hand. In that conversation, whatever he said, I just replied, ‘yes sir.'”
