PadMan which is set to hit the screens on 9 Feb 2018, had a special screening for Minister of I&B Smriti Irani and other's in Delhi. Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, co-star Radhika Apte, R Balki and real PadMan Arunachalam Muruganantham.

In a recent media interaction, Akshay said that his main goal of his film is that the message should reach to large number of population. Akshay has collaborated with Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and the state government and has launched Pad Banks initiative in small villages.
Smriti who loved the film also came out openly to speak about the issues addressed in the film.The issue of GST and luxury tax applied on sanitary napkins were also discussed by real life PadMan Arunachalam Muruganantham.
Radhika Apte who is also a part of the film will essay the role of Kumar's wife in PadMan.
PadMan was earlier scheduled to release on 26th January, but the movie was clashing with Padmaavat and so the actor on the request of Sanjay Leela Bhansali pushed his release date on 9th Feb.
