Family members of the duo were spotted outside the hospital. Ishaan Khatter, Neelima Azeem and Mira's mother Bela were clicked by paps outside the Mumbai hospital. Soon after the new hit the social media, congratulatory messages started pouring in. From asking the first pic of the baby to speculating his name, fans had a field day.
Shahid's Shandaar co-star Alia Bhatt also took to Instagram to congratulate the couple. Sharing a picture of Shahid and Mira, she wished her loves. ''It's a boy..Congratulations my loves!!'' she captioned the photo.

''Having a child is the most amazing feeling. And we are fortunate that we are having a second one so soon, so [I am] feel happy and blessed about that. Family is always a big reason to work even harder. When you come back home to your family [after work], it’s a great feeling," Shahid said about having a second child.
On a related note, Shahid and Mira tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony in 2015 in Delhi. They welcomed their first child, Misha in August 2016.
On the professional front, Shahid's next film Batti Gul Meter Chalu is all scheduled to release in September and now as the baby has arrived, the actor has to manage both. Shahid will have to juggle between father's duties and promotional activities.
Helmed by Shree Narayan Singh, the movie, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam revolves around faulty electricity meters and bills.
