Just three months after the massive success of Ayushmann Khurrana's Bareilly Ki Barfi, the actor is back in the game with his next flick 'Badhai Ho', that will go on floors in January next year in the capital.
"I hope one day soon people will tell me 'Badhai Ho' too," he said.
The man will again be collaborating with Junglee PIctures for yet another comedy. His 2017 has been quite successful with Shubh Mangal Savdhan and Bareilly Ki Barfi, now tuning into the New year with another big film is just like a cherry on the cake.
His upcoming film 'Badhaai Ho' is a coming-of-age story. The film outlines the impact of a particular news on a family and how the members deal with it in their own way. Directed by Amit Sharma, the script is said to be worked upon from the last two and a half years.
Confirming the news with great enthusiasm, Ayushmann said, "I had a fantastic experience collaborating with Junglee Pictures for Bareilly Ki Barfi and working with them on Badhaai Ho is going to be exciting. The story that Amit tells is typically Indian with dollops of quirky humour. I look forward to a family film that is innovative and entertaining."
The actor found the script very relatable and of course the title caught his interest in the first go. It would be delightful to see him again charming the silver screen with his wit and humor.
