Ayushmann Khurrana and Tabu's recently released movie Andhadhun has received mixed responses since the launch of its trailer. Andhadhun trailer imbibed curiosity and excitement in the audience's mind which worked brilliantly in the movie's favor.
Andhadhun made a collection of 3 crores on the first day of its release
Yesterday was marked as the release day of not-one-but 2 of the most anticipated movies of the year; Ayushmann's Andhadhun and Salman Khan’s production Loveyatri. Despite the release of Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma starrer Loveyatri on the same day, Sriram Raghavan's directorial Andhadhun did pretty good on its opening day.
As a matter of fact, Loveyatri is not even close to the first day BO collections of Andhadhun. Earlier, trade analyst Girish Johar had reported, “Andhadhun is backed by good director and actors. Tabu is an asset to the movie and Ayushmann Khurrana is also on a high point in his career. So, it is expected to have a good start with a collection of Rs 2.75-3 crore on the day of its release.”
And as expected by Girish, the movie has received positive reviews from all over the country. The movie has managed to do a decent collection on the first day of its release.
Dramatic suspense, brilliant direction and powerful performances by Ayushmann, Tabu and Radhika Apte have made this movie a must-watch for everyone. However, Loveyatri is just another Bollywood movie with quirky songs and senseless action scenes.
On a related note, Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to release his upcoming comedy-drama movie, Badhai Ho on 19th October. Directed by Amit Sharma, Badhai Ho also stars Dangal fame actress Sanya Malhotra, Nina Gupta and Sheeba Chaddha in pivotal characters
