In order to concentrate on this film, he decided to walk out of of Mahesh Mathai's space drama, Saare Jahan Se Achha, a biopic of Rakesh Sharma who was the first Indian tio visit space. It was Aamir only, who recommended Shah Rukh Khan to the producer Siddharth Roy Kapur and later Kapur said in an interview that he is "really happy" with SRK doing his film.
Coming back to Deepika Pdukone, an inside source reported this week that the Padmaavat actress was Aamir's first choice to play Draupati in his upcoming project but unfortunately, she has refused to play the same. She will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar's film based on an acid attack survival, Laxmi Agarwal.
