Hollywood’s two top actors Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are all set to come together for a film titled “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood". The movie will be directed by the ace director Quentin Tarantinos.
It is a Manson movie and will be released worldwide on August 9, 2019.
Tarantino, who is writing and directing the film, has described the project as "a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood.” DiCaprio was already the part of the film and now Pitt has come onboard.
DiCaprio will play Rick Dalton, former star of a western TV series, while Pitt will be his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth. The director reveals, "Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don't recognise anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbour, Sharon Tate."
Tarantino was supposedly working on the script for five years and now he is excited that the acst includes two dynamic actors and he would be able to tell this story of an LA and a Hollywood that don't exist anymore.
Tarantino has earlier worked with Pitt in "Inglourious Basterds," which was nominated for eight Academy Awards. DiCaprio starred in the Tarantino's "Django Unchained", which scored five Oscar nods.
“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” is believed to involve Charles Manson and the Manson family murders. It's the first project which the director will release without the Weinstein Company.
