There is a long way t go before the final season of the much-awaited fantasy drama series, Game of Thrones returns. The cast and crew are working in full secrecy, which is just making our wait even more miserable. But luckily, Emilia Clarke decided to throw some insight and said that the highly-anticipated finale of the fantasy series will take everyone by surprise.
Season 8 will premiere in 2019
At the sidewalks of the Cannes Film Festival, where Emilia was present with the team of her upcoming movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story revealed that the fight for the Iron Throne will end at a completely unexpected note.
"We are currently shooting multiple endings for the last season and have no clue which one will actually be used," she said. Well, you just made it worse for us because now I want to see every ending!
However, Emilia has promised that the climax will be "what none of us think it will be”. The eighth and the final installment of 'Games Of Thrones' is exactly a year away from its premiere.
Based on George R R Martin's novels, the show also stars Sophie Turner, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Iain Glen in pivotal roles.
