Ace Bollywood director Karan Johar recently represented the Indian cinema in World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. WEF is a summit where the biggest business names meet and discuss ideas about the global economy.
Consecutively for the third time, producer and filmmaker Karan Johar was invited to the event. Being the only Bollywood celebrity, director represented the Indian cinema and talked about the crucial theme of Globalization 4.0.
When KJo was asked about his participation in the event, he said, “I am extremely honoured to be invited to the World Economic Forum at Davos, for the third time, as a cultural leader. It’s such an exciting meeting ground that facilitates the exchange of ideas, conversations at these world-class forums. It was a fantastic experience this year, where I was part of two very interesting panels that discussed a wealth of such innovative ideas.”
Recently, Karan Johar with other young actors of Bollywood met the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the meeting, Modi suggested that Bollywood should also come up with an annual event like the WEF summit and discuss ideas of importance. For the same, Karan also expressed the need for a similar summit in India.
On the work front, Karan’s famous talk show Koffee with Karan is doing well on television with various B-Town celebrities invited to spice up the conversations.
