Disney’s live-action ‘Lady and the Tramp’ got a helmer

Great news for Disney fans. According to sources, Disney's live-action/CGI remake of 'Lady and the Tramp' has finally got a helmer in the form of Charlie Bean. Yes, the guy who directed the film 'The Lego Ninjago Movie'.

Charlie Bean will helm the Lady and the Tramp.

Brigham Taylor was an integral part of the studio's remake of 'The Jungle Book’. He is producing the Disney project which is seemingly created for Disney's digital streaming services to be launched in 2019.

This incredible service will include 4 to 6 movies per year. The overall content will comprise a list of film and TV offerings from renowned Disney brands Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars.

Just to remind you about the original animated film that was released in 1955 followed a wealthy Cocker Spaniel named Lady and a street dog named Tramp. The concept goes like this: After the Lady is thrown on the streets as her owners have a baby, she is saved from a gang by Tramp. This guy teaches her the way to live life on the footloose and collar-free. Many doggone adventures continue. The important part of the movie is the iconic candlelit spaghetti dinner conducted in an alley while two human cooks croon and play 'Bella Notte', which is probably the best scene ever in Disney and movie history.

Andrew Bujalski has written the remake script. Jessica Virtue and Chaz Salembier are responsible for overseeing Disney.
