Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are one of the finest actors in Bollywood, and they've come together for a horror comedy titled, Stree. The film is based on an urban legend set in a small village named in Chanderi, Bhopal.
The film is slated to release on August 31, 2018
Helmed by Amar Kaushik, Stree is being produced by Maddock Films and co-produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj and DK.
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao shared a 59-second video clip on their Twitter accounts. The short clip showed a deserted town where no one is in sight, but in the bylanes on various walls there is a message, "O Stree, kal aana" ('Stree', come tomorrow).
The message in the beginning of the short clip reads, "The film is based on a 'ridiculously' true phenomenon."
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao will be next seen in Fanne Khan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga opposite Sonam Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Anil Kapoor and Regina Cassandra.
