Manikarnika actress Kangana Ranaut who has been a prey of continuous threatening and harassing of Karni Sena finally fired back at them. The outfit said that they will ruin her career and burn all the sets of her upcoming movie.

Recently, on the launch of a jewellery collection, Kangana was asked about her reaction for the same and if she will apologise the Karni Sena or not. The actress was very clear in her response and said that she will not say sorry to anyone.

She said, “No, I will not apologise to anyone. I never apologise for things that I have not done wrong. However, we have reassured them that the film (Manikarnika) doesn’t show anything offensive. They should support us and the film. She (Rani Lakshmibai) is India’s daughter and everyone should push that film forward. She is not a relative of mine. She is to me what she is for the entire nation.”

“Ye faltu ka ego issue mere sath karne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Main yahan pe kisi ko sorry-worry kehne ke liye nahi hu (There is no need for useless ego issues with me. I am not here to apologise to anyone),” she further added.

For the same issue, Kangana, earlier said that she will ruin and destroy each and every one of them if they continue to harass her. She said, “Four historians have certified Manikarnika, we have got censor certificate as well, Karni Sena has been conveyed this but they are continuing to harass me. If they don’t stop then they should know I am also a Rajput and I will destroy each one of them.”

For Kangana’s bold response, Karni Sena replied to her comments by saying, “If she continues to threaten the members of our outfit, we will not let her walk freely in Maharashtra and will burn her film sets.” The actress said that the Hindu society will not forgive if she has done any injustice to the role of Rani Laxmibai.

On a relatable note, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, is an onscreen representation of the struggles of queen Rani LaxmiBai who stood against to fight the reign of British East India Company during the Indian rebellion of 1857. Alongside Kangana Ranaut, the movie also stars TV actress Ankita Lokhande marking the debut of her Bollywood career. Manikarnika is all set to hit the theatres on 25th January.
