The daughter of late veteran Bollywood actress SriDevi and producer Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor reecently made her debut this year with Dharma Productions Shashank Khaitan's directorial venture, Dhadak. The movie was the official remake of hit Marathi movie Sairaat and it went on to do wonders at the box-office as well.
Janvhi Kapoor will be next seen in KJo’s Takht!
However, today is not the day when we talk about her great acting skills but today, we're here because of her amazing Lakme Fashion Week 2018 ramp debut! Janhvi looked etheral as she walked the ramp in the most colourful lehenga for designer Nachiket Barve as his showstopper on the third day of the ongoing fashion week.
“When he showed me a swatch of the fabric, I thought it’s so stunning and in my head I was like I am going to trip and fall on my face because it looked so heavy, but then when I tried it on, the outfit was light and comfortable,” she told media after her ramp-walk.
Sharing the picture from the walk on Instagram, Janhvi wrote, “Had a blast walking on the ramp for @r.elan.official and @Nachiketbarve’s latest collection #MillennialMaharanis at @LakmeFashionWk W/F ’18. Loved my outfit created with @r.elan.official Freeflow fabric, it was so soft and luxurious! Make sure to follow @r.elan.official for more updates and don’t forget to #FlowToTheFuture @R.Elan.Official @nachiketbarve @lakmefashionwk #FlowToTheFuture #FabricOfTheFuture #MillennialMaharanis.”
To boost Janhvi's moral, the fashion show saw her sister Khushi and half-sister Anshula, who looked stunning in their beautiful outfits. Apart from Janhvi, Shahid Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and Disha Patani also walked the ramp on Day 3 of LFW. Karisma was the showstopper for Arpita Mehta while Shahid and Disha walked for Amit Aggarwal.
Janhvi recently made her Bollywood debut in Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak. The film, which also marked the Bollywood debut of Ishaan Khatter, was received well by the audience. She will now be seen in Karan Johar’s multi-starrer historical epic, Takht.
