John Abraham’s ‘Parmanu’ gets a new release date yet again

Bollywood hunk John Abraham’s upcoming movie ‘Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran’ is hitting a rocky road ever since it started. The movie which was supposed to release last year will now release on May 4.

Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran will now release in the same month as the Pokhran tests 20 years ago.

The makers earlier informed that the film will release this Friday but after its co-producers JA Entertainment and KriArj Entertainment ended up in a lockdown, the movie was forced to have a new release date.

However, the film’s director is happy with its new release date as the movie's release now coincides with the same month as the Pokhran tests 20 years ago.

The director said, "Much in line with India's journey to becoming a nuclear power, our film's journey to its release has also had its own ups and downs! However, it is perhaps a befitting tribute to the true heroes of our nuclear programme -- our army and our scientists, that 'Parmanu' is releasing in the same month as we are celebrating 20 years of Operation Shakti - India's nuclear test explosions in Pokhran in May 1998.”

The makers and the cast are very happy and proud of the film and can’t wait to share it with the audience. The movie is an ode to the fighters of the country and stands for the saying ‘Jai Jawaan Jai Vigyan’.

Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran also stars Boman Irani and Diana Penty in pivotal roles.
