After Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kabir Khan and Salman Khan come together to tell another heartwarming story about the power of doing good. "Tubelight", based on the Indo-China War of 1962, has political issues that are 'still relevant' as described by Director Kabir Khan.

Tubelight is about much more than Salman Khan and his charm.
"The political issues the story deals with, are still relevant. In 1962, there was a border conflict between India and China. We are still dealing with some of them," explained Kabir when asked about the reason behind choosing India-China War as a background to his film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGQRNKHJwH4 The director has chosen a path towards a more sensible, emotional and do-good scripts for film making. The Bhaijaan of Bollywood seems to prefer such ethical genre of movies which are also equally loved by the audience. At the trailer launch of the film recently, the director told about his evolved relationship with Salman Khan over the time. Since this is Salman and Kabir's third movie as a team, together Director Kabir showed his gratitude towards Salman Khan, "It is great that I have got a chance to work with one of the biggest superstars of the country but I also managed to do three very different films that is important. Our relation has evolved with time and we understand each other better." Well! Who does not like sensible, heart-warming stories and Salman Khan? Then go get your tickets booked before they sell out. "Tubelight" is expected to be released by 23rd June.
