Filmmaker Karan Johar announced on Wednesday that he is launching a new digital division and has named it "DHARMATIC." It will be responsible for creating content for various digital channels and would be headed by Somen Mishra as well as Aneesha Baig.
Making the special announcement about his new venture, Karan's post read, "Our new journey begins! DHARMATIC! The digital content company. This is our new baby."
Along with his much-excited posts on all his social media handles, the Takht director also shared a picture of his new company's work place. He also said that Somen Mishra will be heading the fiction division while Aneesha Baid will be the chief of non-fiction division at the Dharmatic.
On the film front, currently Karan Johar is presenting Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0, which has hit the big screens today and is the most expensive movie ever made in India. Next year, he will be commencing the shooting of his next directorial project Takht which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
