A new beautiful song from Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput's Kedarnath is out now. Titled Qaafirana, the song captures the sweet beginning of an innocent love story between the two leads. While Sushant will be seen portraying the role of a Muslim porter named Mansoor, debutant Sara will essay the role of a Hindu tourist.
The small-town romance is beautifully picturised!
Penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the soothing song has been sung by Arijit Singh and Nikhita Gandhi. Credits for the soulful music go to Amit Trivedi, while the lead pair's romance share tea and start a new journey.
Helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, this film will mark the debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter, Sara. It had been delayed due to several production hassles for six months but is now set to release on December 7, this year. The trailer of the film was recently released and has successfully caught the interest of the critics as well as the audience.
The makers had earlier released a powerful devotional song Namo Namo from the film. This was followed by a wedding dance number ‘Sweetheart’ that had Sushant and Sara matching steps on the dance floor.
The film is set in the backdrop of the devastating Uttarakhand floods that left several thousand dead in 2013. When the film was in trouble and the shoot had halt for over a period of two months, debut actor Sara signed her second film, Rohit Shetty's Simmba co-starring Ranveer Singh. The film is set release in the New Year season on December 28.
