Akshay Kumar just doesn't know how to stop. From signing back to back movie including Gold and Kesari, we have some more good news. According to recent reports, Akshay Kumar has signed a contract with Yash Raj Films for their upcoming period film on Prithviraj Chauhan.
The film is expected to go on floors by next year
“Akshay and YRF have been discussing to work together for quite some time. There were rumours that Shimit Amin is directing a film with him, but that’s not true. It’s another project that will be helmed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi,” the report quoted a source as saying.
Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film will begin shooting after Akshay completes Hera Pheri 3.
Prithviraj Chauhan was an Indian king from the Chauhan dynasty, who ruled in the Delhi region of north-western India. He is best remembered for his battle against Muhammad of Ghor (in modern-day Afghanistan) in 1191-92 AD, called Second battle of Tarain.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar really has his hands full with Anurag Singh's Kesari, S Shankar's 2.0 co-starring Rajnikanth and Reema Kagti's Gold.
